Walking slowly….I’m king of the day…
Only God knows da feel…once in lifetime…
Yummmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyy…..
Alhamdulillah, Thank Al Mighty I reach my age to this glorious moment of human life. Change the next phase of life to be marriage man. I’ve got lovely wife to take care of and build new family to continue human generation.
3rd of June 2006, after Isya’ that night, my family and I went to bride house. I feel that’s it, after 7 years relationship with my girlfriend and one and half year in engaged, finally we end to be like this..(hopefully until the end of our life).
With only one phrase ..it’s ’sah’ our relationship as ’suami-isteri’… God bless! Then, after bacaan ‘lafaz taklik’ and explaination from tuan kadi about our responsilbilty as a husband and wife, we continue that night with ‘malam berinai’.
After around 12 midnight, I’m going back with my family to my house.
Morning of June, 4th, the event continue with ‘majlis khatamal’ Al-Quran by my wife and her younger brother. I didnt attend to the event.
Then at 12 pm, I prepared for majlis sanding. Walking slowly from ‘rumah bertandang’ (neighbour house) to bride’s house in macho - king of the day.huhuhuhuh…1st tol is neighbour’s kid. I already mention about the ‘adat’ to my family early so they didn’t suprise. 2nd tol is my wife’s uncle. 3rd tol, in front of main door is my wife’s auntie. My cousin joking with pantun in Melanau language make their face blur. huhuhuhuhuhuh….Final tol before I can sit beside my wife on the ‘pelamin’.
After photography session, we change a clothes to have another event - ‘Makan Damai’. That’s one of Johorean ‘adat’.
That wonderful and ‘tiredful’ day finish around 6.00 pm.
Alhamdulillah…finally!
